My laptop hard drive broke when I put a magnetic Gorillapod over it. I lost all my graphics files, PCB layouts, and all of my music and software. Nothing was backed up-- I was going to buy an external hard drive soon-ish.

I just messed up on two batched of And Aardvarks! pedals-- in a row.

I've had someone's pedal for mods for way too long, and when I finally finish, I wired the power wrong so the LED blew. I don't have any of those right now, so of course I have to hope Radio Shack has some, or just wait-- yet again.

Mammoth electronics, for some reason, ships switches and pots without the hardware attached. so now I have a bunch of stuff with loose hardware, and I'll be shocked if i get half way through them before I start struggling to find hardware. Also, one set of switches has short shafts, and one set of pots just didn't have hardware at all.

I don't have a car because I can't afford one. My parents have two just sitting around, but I can't seem to get the minor work done on them that they need.

And, somehow, I'm totally optimistic about everything.

My parents give me shit about being vegan, so a couple of nights ago I made my parents veggie burgers, and my dad said it was "better than a hamburger", then asked me to cook another one last night.

Who wins? I win, motherfucker.

Wait, man-milk doesn't count as an animal by-product?

No, I'm calling shenanigans on the story altogether. McSpunckle doesn't even have parents. He was made in a test tube with DNA from an alligator and Roger Moore.

1) It's still vegan if it comes from a human. I'm totally down with semen... and breast milk.
2) ... I don't have a recipe... but I'll post some guidelines in the recipe thread a bit later.

Happiness:
HP overnighted the new hard dive for my laptop, which they sent me basically no questions asked for free. (though, they did get my credit card info in case I didn't send the old one back). when they called to get the info, I talked to an Indian call center guy who couldn't pronounce "Tennessee", and it was adorable. ^_^
