we're so negative here in the general discussion forum guys. we need some good vibes. <3 why are you happy, excited, or generally content?

i'm happy right now because my friend's currently abroad in japan and she said i can buy a japanese guitar through her! she also said that there's a lot of used instrument shops around her too, i'm totally stoked to see where that goes. :love:

That my band's album is almost done [god this has been taking a long time], that despite working brutally through the weekend I still did well at last nights rehearsal, that I am having a cool used guitar being shipped from Japan ;) , that people seem to like me despite my self opinion most of the time :idk:

After 10 months I'm FINALLY almost done refinishing my bass. Tomorrow I'll coat it one more time and then it'll hang for a month before the final steps.

There were a lot of setbacks and I probably spent more on materials and parts than if I had just sent it off to someone to do it for me, but I learned a lot about refinishing in general and it's pretty interesting. So the monetary aspect doesn't bother me.
