Details are in the form, but basically you can be ensured the unit you desire from the next batch with no deposit or pre order. The pedals should be finished around the end of July + will be shipped worldwide etc.
Getting ready to plug in and notice the jacks aren't labeled, lol,... ok,... here we goooooo.....
Hours later...
WOOOW!!!!!!
Yea, this is TheOne. Zellersasn is mind expanding, but Ct5 is VISCERALLY alive and ready to go.
I think it's as important as,say, FuzzFactory, historically speaking... but obviously MOAR!
Mode1 reminds me of a lucid tripping recollection of getting a BOSS DD2 in 1984!- except as from 'BladeRunner'!- or Cronenberg (was gonna ask Scott if he was inspired by Cronenberg).
Mode2, fun with 'Freeze'
Mode3... well... I've got Zellersasn to deal with too... wow, overload!
New Count to 5 (version B) just showed up!!!! I also had bought some different color knobs since I initially expected to have 2 of the same Count to 5's with different firmware.
Wow...this new firmware is phenomenal. Each mode is incredible and worthy of its own pedal...is that why there are 6 new designs? One for each mode of the firmware’s? I don’t know how you can take one of the greatest pedals of all time and made it greater, but you’ve done it!
So I recently had a pretty brutal experience that I would like to share.
Scott contacted me early last week with this message;
first I would like to apologize for the delayed reply to any emails you may have sent regarding orders made on mtlasm.com on Friday May 29. Our website suffered from some major malfunction and it has taken a few days to verify the status of transactions from that day.
Unfortunately during the malfunction the website allowed in some cases items to be paid for when the stock count was actually negative. This means people were able to pay for items that were not actually available. For your particular order this problem has affected the availability of the "B" variant. The "A" variant is fine and can ship right away. So in terms of the "B" variant we can offer 2 options.
1) Full refund for the "B" variant. To simply receive a refund, reply to this email stating such and your refund should be processed within 24 hours.
2) Treat current payment as a pre order. We are producing more units which will be available around the end of July 2020. If you would like to claim one of those units we can treat the current payment as a "pre order" and offer you an additional 10% off for the confusion (via a refund on your current payment). In this case we can offer you any of the 6 patterns offered in the previous sale (does not necessarily have to be the one you purchased Friday).
If you choose option 2 then you can also go to this form we have setup and request the pattern you desire. https://forms.gle/ejSPUQDW5R8xoHYw5
Those are the 2 options for how we can handle your current order. Please simply reply to this email with your choice and we will take care of it for you.
Again I apologize for the issues but it seems our host was not setup to handle the sudden surge of activity on our website and this really caused some issues with the webstore functionality. We are in the process of moving to a different server to hopefully avoid such issues in the future.
Thank you for your patience.
I replied stating my choice based on one of his options... Ironically I only meant to order one anyway. He didn't respond for 6 days and then last night, in the middle of the night I get this message from him
Sorry for the late response. Unfortunately we cannot fulfil the order that way so I have refunded the payment, and if you are still interested in either you can go to this form https://forms.gle/ejSPUQDW5R8xoHYw5
and just make a request, then in the next batch you will be guaranteed to get whatever you request on the form.
Totally uncool. I get that he had unavoidable server problems, but this is just being shitty at business
That final response doesn’t sound unreasonable to me. They can’t perfectly predict the future and demand of customers. Didn’t you just say you only meant to order one?

Searching for that new sound.
If you can read this, then I'm back?
That doesn't sound unreasonable to me either. It sounds like whatever option you chose no longer worked out, so you got a refund. Now you have a chance to use that refund to pre-order any of the pedal variant via this link he has provided. To me this sounds like a shitty situation due to server issues that Scott is working to improve. Also, you're not out any money and you have the chance to get the pedal you want in July
