I was thinking about buying a Superego or Superego Plus. Probably wouldn't use the effects in the Plus, would it still be worth buying? Looks like there's still lots of extra controls on the synth side, so maybe?

This is the right place to talk about this, right?

Everytime i read General gear i can only think to a giant gear and a lot of smaller gears standing-->imaginary dialogue:
"hail General Gear"
"relax troop, we have work to do, another soldier got lost in the land of tube screamers"
"man, those fuckin rookies, why can't they just do wha.."
"shut up soldier Westwood, you ain't no better than them. You are just a timorous clone. You should take example from Lieutenant MT-2, look at him!"
"thanks sir"

and so on

IDK I think the Superego normal is kind of.. enough? I'm not sure the plus adds enough in the synth department for me. But this is down to personal preference.

Definitely the right place for it

Yeah that's kind of what I was thinking too. All I really need is the Superego effect. I'm planning on tossing a Rainbow Machine and Tremstortion in the effects loop, so I don't really need the built in effects. Might buy a Dr Scientist Dusk to put in the loop too

This sounds fun. I love the superego I think it's thought out very well the way the 3 modes work. A lot of fun sounds there.

Can an Admin please move this thread to Gear? Pedal discussions don't belong in General.
