New clarinot

Hey Doug, I saw on IG you're doing a new clarinot update with feedback control - does that mean it will act more like a standard delay or does it mean we'll get longer warbly repeats off a shorter note? Excited! Need another clarinot, bought on second hand earlier this year but was DOA and had to get a refund.

On a related note - sometimes my clarinot likes line level stuff being input and works semi ok, and other times it'll just spit out a low level of hiss and hum completely unrelated to the input, is this an impedance thing I could fix with a reamp box?

Hey!
The new one can work as a delay, similar to the way the Deluxe Pitch Pirate works, but with envelope modulation instead of the Pirate's LFO.

As for the line level issue, as long as you attenuate the signal a bit, it should work to some extent, but the re-amp
Is always a little better.

Also, if you ever buy one of my pedals and it's dead, send it to be and I'll fix it up!

Hmm. No amount of attenuation seems to work when it has the issue, but then sometimes it's happy and sometimes it isn't - maybe it's one of my power supplies - have never looked into it too hard as I mainly use with guitar and it's always happy with that as long as it doesn't come after my Geiger counter in the chain.

Gonna have to find a way to get one of those new clari(not)s in the UK! Sounds awesome.

3. Psych Byke (magic two knobbed fuzz...does what it does [If you like T.Rex it excels in those tonez imo])
4. Demo Tape Fuzz (You can't have enough fuzzes voiced like a cassette)
5. Peace Gun (Just cool...lot of character...a "resonate" fuzz perhaps?)
6. Electric Yggdrasil (4 duh phazzzeee)
7. New Clari(NOT) - Doug hooked me up big time!

I've had glitch computer, random number generator, pitch pirate deluxe and clarinot. They're all ace! Stupidly sold my glitch computer probably my biggest gear flip regret ever, such a beefy synth pedal!
Clarinot is 100% the best pedal I own. Combined with pitch delay (PS3, CT5 style) it creates a sound that is simultaneously nauseating and comforting.

I never had an OG Clari(not) but...this thing is perfect so I'm going to say, "GREAT ADDITION". It's voiced so well! Can get you to inter-dimensional syrup but it also doesn't get too murky too quick. Just right!
