yes, the dispatch master is pretty awesome. there is no drop in volume, the mix knob adds in the blended effect, but when engaged there is no signal loss whatsoever. i really like this pedal. to me it sounds just like the JCM demo with a fendery setup. the delays sound is warm for a digital delay, and the reverb is huge and cavernous and doesn't sound cheesy like some amp's DSP reverb. would be great for noise/shoegazey or surf stuff. i've been e-stalking the EQD site until it came out so i could pull the trigger on this bad motherfucker. totally worth it and you should check this one out. :thumb:

I haven't been lucky with my choice of reverbs and i'd love another delay

Its the reverb part of the pedal that gives its this warm goooey echo lush sound. While I can say the delay options are limited which is too be expected in a foot print that small, you can turn the delay part off and use it as a verb

Its like if you put the sunny day delay in the toaster. Only with out the amazing hand drawn finish.

Lovin' my Dispatch Master. The reverb sounds incredible with bass....even at extreme settings and the digital delay is awesome for it's super long repeats with no oscillation. As much as I tried to love analog delays, I always found my bass overloaded them to the point of being almost useless, especially with fuzz, envelope and phaser engaged. Such a versatile and inspiring little effect. Thanks Jamie for helping me pull out more creativity from my brain. Now for a Bit Commander.....

Friends,

I was thinking about getting a really simple effect (desk-top 1/3 rack space or a stompbox) for doing some simple reverb and slap-back delay for vocals into my cassette 4-track. Looks like this bitch has BOFF! I get a little confused with all the Mismatch Tractor Seniors and whatnot, but this thing looks really simple and from the few demos I've watched it sounds really basic and good. I basically want to be able to do a bit of a 60s kinda slight-reverby slapback echo for vocals a la The Beatles. I'm not much of a delay guy... I've had a Line6 DL-4 forever, but mostly used it for the looper. Not really into delays with modulation, either, so I figure this one looks like it might be what I need.

Do you think the Dispatch Master would be good for either straight-printing to tape vocals on a 4-track and/or running it through the effects loop on said 4-track machine? Or only good for guitar?

THONKS!

p.s. Love the Cedar Point nods.

The DM is extremely easy to use especially in comparison to the dl4 the reverb should sound great on vocals and really with only 2 knobs you can get almost any delay sound your looking for so i would think it would work great for the vocals your going for. I would probably suggest running it straight with the blend right where you want it or recording the vocals straight then bouncing through the pedal to a second track at full wet setting then blending the 2 and bouncing the 2 back into 1 track.
