That's way cheap, I'd be skeptical regarding originality. I'd also get some specifics on that "weird neck" description. If everything checks out though, that's an insane deal, would be a great deal on a new RI, can't imagine a vintage at that price.

I plan on playing the guitar before I decide. Regardless of if its original or not shouldn't matter much at that price if it plays nice and sounds good. We will see. I will keep you guys posted.

Yea, it's a steal either way. Good luck!

I think you can get more out of a Twin RI in decent shape than $500. Sold mine for $675 a couple years back, and it looked beat. Probably better off just paying the $500 on the guitar and selling the Twin separately.

This. I rarely see twins for $500.

Yea I was gonna try to get some cash out of him if I traded the twin. So I got back from playing it and couldn't see a model card that they usually put inside of semi hollows. Are there prone to falling out or getting lost? It sounded good, the neck was slightly parting where it connects to the body so i might need a reset but the frets seems in good condition. Now he might want my Mesa DC-5 which I feel is closer in value to the guitar so if he goes for that I will snatch it. And if I get tired of it futuresailors can get it on a payment plan!!!

The "Orange Label"?? I've never seen a legit Gibson without one but who knows, sure it's possible. Should probably have the "Kalamazoo" label on a 1966 (I think). If it was missing, you'd at least see some residue or remnants, don't think it would part cleanly with the guitar.
