LONG STORY >>>>>>>> My high school gives all the seniors all of January off to do some community service at a site of our choosing. I helped out at a local elementary school working with the 4th grade and the art/computer classes. It was great. It even made me consider taking up teaching or something.
Then last week (our last week there) a lot of girls from another high school came, and I met this one who happened to like The Black Keys I think just as much as me, and she is an amazing artist. I brought my guitar the last day, and I played like 5 or 6 songs, and I'm pretty sure she was impressed as she took a picture then she wanted to draw me playing haha. I sort of blew it the last day though as I would have asked for her number or something, but her friend was with her the whole time. I then gave in to the darkside, and I made a facebook to find her. She seemed very happy that I made one, and she asked me to post a video of me playing. I haven't made that video yet, but I wrote her an instrumental song complete with guitars and drums . She seemed to really like that too, and she said I should make more. I'm not sure what my next move should be, and I still don't know if she likes me haha, but I'm glad I met her.

I had a few hours to kill before my volunteer work started, so I walked around and came upon two awesome record shops, right next door to each other. So good. Although, I think they were both getting annoyed because I kept walking back and forth between the two shops comparing prices before I bought anything. Iz a smart shopper.

From personal experience and um being the type of person that doesn't act until i'm 100% sure ,like a bitch, most times, i would safely say she probably wants your dick and you should hit that without further delay. Be sure to gain her interest talk to her a bunch then ignore her for a day or two then talk to her a bunch girls are like cats.fact.

Seeing as how I've only know her for about a little more than a week I don't think she wants anything yet . Although I am pretty poor at reading any signs...I mean I don't know what else to do. I know she lives far from me (across town), and I really got the feeling that she was into me while we worked at that school together. Maybe she was just being nice because of my guitar playing and maybe she was just being nice about my song being good...I have a low self-esteem btw haha. And she doesn't use fb chat either. I made sure to hint in my messages with the videos that they were more than a friendly gesture though.

I agree. Not the cat thing. But the rest of it. Especially the go for it part. I just don't want to potentially get caught comparing girls to animals by any girls. Oh yeah, this is the internet; there are no girls. Except unknownunknown, and her avatar is a cat. Moral of the story: Ask her to get a cup of coffee. It's not about the coffee. It's a date

So I wrote most of the beginning of this and then I decided to go warm up some leftover Mexican food during a commercial break. I was eating a steak taco when I felt something strangely solid. I stopped my devouring-fest momentarily to pull a leaf out of my taco (excellent sentence). I don't have a clue how it got there, and I don't care. I'm pretty sure it's not even from a real plant. I giggled like a stoned little girl when I first found it. It made my otherwise uneventful day.

Alright. I'm going to wait a few more days first. I want to make that video of my friend and I jamming and then I'll see how it goes. I'll probably ask her out then, but I don't want to do it through fb, so I have to figure that out.

I haven't been this excited about and enjoyed playing guitar in a while. I was just going through the motions and was stuck in a rut for about two and a half years. Now, I'm getting really motivated to learn new things and improve my playing, and just generally enjoying it. I can't wait for my dad to leave the house(he mostly works out of a home office) so I can play.

I'm super stoked on it.

i've been really happy with my playing recently as well. having gotten the pedalboard largely sorted and become familiar with most of the stuff on the board, i'm now able to dial in sounds i've been wanting for ages. and having spent lots of time playing while working out the settings, my technical skill is better than it's been in years. i want to try to get out of the house more this year and play.

I should be getting $2200 back from my 2009 taxes and even more for my 2010!

i am looking at some drawings i did the other day. i remember being really pissed that i couldn't do anything dece when i was drawing them, but looking at them now they're okay

My son is finally getting to the age where he's smiling back at you when you smile at him. For some reason, this makes me insanely happy.
