"going back to school" is the worst, 1 stupid night class is kicking my ass.

^^^^ I think I'm having some allergies right now too.... so dumb. Also still haven't figured out what triggers my (admittedly mild) eczema. I hate the feeling that my body is rebelling against itself, especially since I really want to start spending more time outdoors  I really hope it's not eggs, because they're really crucial to my diet and budget right now.

'Tis the season for allergens and other irritants. The MDMA effects Uglyface pedal saga/fiasco has still not drawn to a close, and I discovered something new and disturbing about PayPal today. Apparently, handmade products have next to no purchase protection. I had to make a phone call to initiate a new claim, took the time to submit videos and photos demonstrating the pedal did not appear or function as advertised, and they still denied the claim on the basis of their bogus purchase protection policies. Reverb seems to be stepping up a bit more now, but I'm wondering how much longer this nonsense will continue before there is resolution.

seriously lamenting the quality of university education/educators lately.
all my classes are way too fucking easy; tutors way too lenient and lazy with marking; i almost never get useful feedback to help me improve the skills i want to improve.
when i recently asked my tutor for advice regarding for the job field i'm aspiring towards, i was basically just told to learn something different because there are more jobs in that area, as if i didn't know that already..
for the first time in my life i'm at peace with the idea of working towards a profession and whatever fun and painful learning experiences i'll need to go through to get there, and i can't help but feel like I can't rely on anyone to help me along the way even if they're being fucking paid to do it. i've been misdiagnosed twice now by the medical services at the university, too.

yeah, for sure.
low education standards are pretty much the reason i'm dissatisfied enough with the output of my chosen field to want to work in it and improve it, so it sucks being caught up in just that.

it's a Japanese + Game Design double major on paper. i've configured it so i'm focused on language, history/cultural studies, academic writing and drawing/graphic design rather than more involved aspects of game design though (i'm interested in multimedia localization).
