100%. Please do! I’ll be around unless I spend my savings visiting the North and South Poles to see the ice before it melts.
But seriously, you could/should just check out Blackened Soul’s chunes. Again, his project is Ice Bear but... I labeled it his ILF username in my MP3 player.
There are so many talented people on here but I also feel compelled to call out ibarakishi’s project (A Worl Wondered Full) and Olin’s project (Bare Wireson) as well. Neither are dark ambient per say but they are 1. In that palette 2. Super talented.
I’d shout out Doug Deeper (Doug Tuttle) as well but that is a COMPLETELY different sort of genre. Chris Dermo also sent me stuff (bleep bloopy) but I don’t know if he posts much anymore and I’m not sure he “released” his album.
So I guess that keeps this thread in topic. We should be happy so many talented people post here (excluding me

)

Did you play it, or did you get someone? Either way super exciting. I'm just curious if you sought a collaborator for this Ice Bear project.
We can take it to the 'Post Your Tunes' thread.

Today was a good day. I officiated my first wedding. I get super neurotic about 'not fucking things up' so I was super worried about filling out the marriage license correctly. I thought there was going to be a few days of anxiety between submitting the paperwork and seeing if it was approved. We went right to the municipality after the ceremony (it was the most MINIMALIST ceremony ever) and they approved it right there. Just a HUGE wave of relief my friends are now legally married and have certified copies of the certificate. This is great too because my friend can head start all the other legal stuff that comes after that (name change, driver license change, any credit, assets, etc.).
It was truly a beautiful day. On top of that my Lubdar pedal arrived

.
If anyone has any questions on becoming an officiate please hmu. Although, I'm a complete dumb ass so if I CAN FIGURE it out. You can too! (Just be prepared to spend like $60 - $80, although, I live in the most densely populated State in the USA so... most municipalities don't even follow up on credentials).

So after I got fired, I went on a bit of a bender, but despite the 2 jars of moonshine in my kitchen or the bar next door, I haven't had a drink in 3 days. I feel like hammered shit, but I'm proud to have friends I used to day drink with swinging by to see if I just, wanna jam or walk around the park, no pressure to drink, just hang out.

Keep it up friend. 3 days becomes 7. 7 becomes a month. And so on. What I tell people who are trying cut down or quit or just keep it cool... whatever is... when you hit a certain number, I implore you to look back and see when was the last time you went without whatever substance for that period of time. I know some people who would be THRILLED if they went three days without their vice of choice. Keep up the good work. Keep the positive momentum going!

I honestly think the longest time I've gone without a drink in the past 5 years was 1 day. It went from a "meet folks in a new town" thing to a "I'm a regular" thing to a "Well, it's my day off but I still woke up at 6 am, time for a beer" thing. I don't think I'll have trouble from going out for the occasional drink with friends after I dry out, knowing I got folks who can tolerate me sober.

Got an interview scheduled for a new job on Tuesday
My new, non-broken-to-hell bank card finally arrived
Gonna get my first eye exam in 6+ years tomorrow
Went axe-throwin' today, and it was awesome!

well, they signed a waiver!
The axe throwing...range? is about to move to a new space where they'll have a bar, apparently.
Seems like a possibly horrible idea.
It was a lot of fun, though. I might build a target in the back yard.

There's an axe throwing bar in my town and people say it is very fun. Still open so I assume no accidents

I got a coupon for a local ax throwing bar so I decided to check it out, it's kinda fun, but it wears off quick when you live in the country where folks do that all the time, and it's cheaper. It was funny seeing my friend stick the handle in the target though.
