Apart from being hungover. my birthday was pretty cool. Had people over yesterday to party, and that was cool. Saw a lot of dudes I hadn't seen in a minute.

I also didnt get depressed this year on my birthday. Thats always a good thing to avoid.

Whackjob Austin bomber blew himself up this morning so everyone is a bit more relieved. Not out of the woods until next week, since we don't know how many other packages are out there, but the city (especially the part I live in which is home to the FedEx he shipped his bombs from) is a lot less tense now.

So while trying to use the restroom, a coworker who has recognized me do open mic comedy asked if I'd be interested in doing a comedy show. I was trying to get him to leave asap so I said, "yea, sure, please stop talking to me." I thought it was going to be a regular open mic. But now my name is on a poster. I'm both excited and freaked out.
