Eh, nothing special. I settled for doing event marketing for a company that makes a very specific home improvement product. Basically, I go to events and try to get people to sign up for estimates. It's not at all something that interests me, but it's a job, the hourly pay is better than my last job (although it's not full time so I need to find something a few days a week), and I get to be outside talking to people all day which is welcome after half a year of unemployment and a year and a half of a job where I'm on a computer (often alone) for 8 hours at a time.
I'm done working for the weekend. Time to get drunk, my babies!

Welp, my Spectre sold on Reverb and it looks like I got a buyer on my sitar. Yet another step closer to getting out of my debt hole! I'm *almost* down to triple digits now

First day of work went well. They trusted me enough to leave me by myself the last hour of the day. I'm pretty thrilled.

How come you chose to let the Spectre go?
And congrats on the gig with Cymbals btw, did Brian do that or how'd it happen?

I don't smoke weed and I don't know anything about oakland but I totally get what your saying. People need to calm down and pick their battles a bit more. Cool to hear things got sorted.

Well I hardly ever used it to be honest. I kinda got a bunch of shit and stopped having a regular board for a while, and certain things never made it into my regular usage. I'm not happy to see it go, but I got my money back, minus shipping, so

Maybe I'll scoop another one down the line. Debt-free is my main goal right now though.
And thanks! Yea Brian hit me up the other day
Glad things are working out for you walt!

I love the Spectre—it's definitely been my fave of the CBAs, and currently the only one I've kept.
That said, I totally feel ya on the debt thing. I've been selling a bunch of gear lately too, and am closing in on that debt-free zone. Unfathomably awesome!

I'm digging this gig. I have an office and we keep an acoustic around the office. They keep playing Bon Jovi and I keep butchering Smiths songs.
