The flat hunt is... over?

I am moving in with my lady friend? On an actual date? Into an actual place? And I found my all time favorite beer in the world to celebrate with on the same day?

How do I sustain the bitter snark that everyone wants and expects from my posts?
The question mark leads me to believe that there is doubt about your situation.
I understand the message i sent you may have seemed heavy handed and cold regarding all that, but I hope that whichever path you tread leads to happiness and resolution.
Which beer is it?

Holy shit, my favorite artist (Spencer Radcliffe) just emailed me asking me if I could set him up a show in Dallas so now I get to have my favorite musician play in my living room :')

Meeting up with 2 dudes Thursday to have a beer and talk music, then heading over to one dude's studio/practice space to jam. The drummer is fucking killer and we have a lot of similar tastes. The bass player (who also plays guitar) seems cool too and they have a rig I can use until mine is up and running again. I may end up switching to bass depending on how stupid my fingers are. I get more nervous playing guitar around people than i do bass. Either way though, I'll be happy to be cranking out the noise rock jams again. I have riffs for days.

Had a breakthrough in my writing. I've only been writing short stories so far, but this new idea feels like it can be the source of a much richer story arc. I'm very excited to start planning. :joy:

Hahaha the question mark is more surreal disbelief. That situation is heavy handed and cold and also necessary. We had a talk, and we're on the same page, which is relieving

The beer would be Theakston's Old Peculiar.

:!!!:

I have actual free time for the first time in forever. Nobody is expecting anything of me right now. :joy:

Also, Old Peculiar is a damn fine brew, if memory serves me right.

I should probably start writing in earnest before i kill myself.
Problem being that i have no faith in my ideas or abilities i just feel compelled to get my internal universe out.
Which may just be madness or naivete, but its driving me nuts not doing it either.
Maybe I am just nuts now
Ah well, no sense in putting a filter on it.

There's no way to tell unless you try. I've never even tried publishing the things I've written. They're just an output, just like music. Better than music (for me). If this piece truly becomes as original and interesting as I'm imagining, I might try publishing it...
