Went to see my old intern play a show at a bar next to me. I'm worried because he's the one intern that was really dedicated to sound (and still is). He could kill it if he got the right opportunity, but those are few and far between.

Anyways, super proud to see him still ignoring sense and pursuing a living in music.

Wired in the internet in my studio. Goddddd I've never known internet speeds this fast.

just got my home internet restarted so i can be less isolated.

Since I had so much time off during the holidays, I finally decided to refinish my mustang. Decided to go for a tru oil finish. After a few days of messing with it, I finally figured out the best way to apply the coats evenly so I sanded it down again and started over. And I'm really glad I did. Today was the second day of coats, and I just applied the 5th and it's starting to look reeeeaaalllly nice. Can't wait to get it back together.

Watching Seven Samurai, celebrating the end of the holidays. 2017 is off to a great start.

Saw a lot of old friends during new years. A few of them came up to me through the night to tell me that they dug my weird pedal shit on instagram. Really nice to hear that from people that aren't really in this world.

Hung out with waltdogg today. Guys is rad dude. Had him set up my guitar for c which was bitchin.

While i was there i got a call from a record store i frequent about a job interview, so i went from walts to there once the guitar was set up.

So yea, good day!

I survived the holiday season and my band is doing a public access show and a closing set at a popular bar i frequent this week.

Had my first Improv class today.

Was fun to put myself out there, try something new (and fail quite a bit). Excited for next week.
