That makes me happy.
If he plays clawhammer, you should have him teach you some clawhammer guitar:

My other band, Autom, which is basically a fusion of pop, electronic dance music and post-rock are finally playing our first gig. It's not for another three months, but still, it was something we needed in order to get our shit together. Too much jamming and improv. We finally have to get our shit straight, which feels great! :!!!:

Met a friend I hadn't talked to in 4 months at a party yesterday.
He told me he finally finished building the 3D-printer he has been working on for years.

So now I can him 3D print a couple of parts I need for a guitar build I've been putting off for way to long. :D

I haven't performed solo in a long time, never really did that very much anyway, but I have a batch of songs that are close to being developed enough to show to people. Played through a set twice and didn't feel too self conscious.

Feels good

Thanks for the reminder!

Best musical week of my life. I dunno what happened, but I like my guitar playing a bit. Not at all content, just no longer a strong dislike for hearing myself play guitar (now mild dislike :!!!: ).

There is other good news and maybe that is spinning everything positive. Good week.

Good talk.

I've been smashing through all of my Japan travel itinerary plans, so I'm finally going to go on a pedal and figurine buying spree tomorrow.

Also, Beer is so much cheaper here and I'm super pleased about it.

I found pedals were alot more expensive there but I found some decent CD/vinyl deals mainly on imports to US.
