So, about a month ago, one of my favorite customers had a few of his guitars stolen from his house. He's a disabled fellow who lives on his own, but has some care assistants come by to help him with things, and it was likely one of those assistants that took his stuff. He's spent a lot of money on instruments at the store, so I wanted to do something special for him. I had an old Harmony acoustic sitting around collecting dust, so I fixed it up for him. His nickname is Tommy Boy and he wants to go to Nashville someday, so I decided he needed a proper country and western guitar, and inlaid Tommy Boy in the fingerboard. He picked it up today and was pretty happy.

I gave up guitar/music/fuzz/ILF a month and a half ago. I met the love of my life. I'm the most consistently happy I have ever been. Joy leaks out of me. I don't miss playing or flipping. If anyone needs me, I'll be over there enjoying the sun.

So happy for Chuck and Monkey!! I'm confident this year will be the best in a long time.
Just made it through my first NAMM. Been wanting to go longer than I've been a part of the ILFfam. Was so freaking awesome and I'm excited for winter NAMM now. BRING IT.
Also..watch for lots of cool stuff from MojoHand between then and now

found a pair of my exact size Levi's 511s stuck in a shrubbery near Harvard square! So yeah I carried them home and washed them haha
I'm not a big raver/dance fan but I'm super glad somebody got so fucked up and covered in glitter last night they ripped off their jeans and threw them into a bush for me to find!

Almost done with my (hopefully) last ever three overnight shifts in a row. And will be done with overnights altogether by the end of next month.

I found one of those fake fireplaces/heaters outside my building by the garbage cans, took it inside, and everything works! I love these things but never wanted to spend the money on one. looks better in person.

got a call from a customer who gave me nothing but praise just for the restringing job on his Epiphone Lucille. made my day, really did. he's an old disabled guy like Slim's friend/customer and it makes me well up with tears that we can still give people just a little but of happiness with something as simple as a guitar. i love you guys,

It looks sweet and precious. Just don't leave it on when you're not home and start things on fire.
