Hung out with this girl on saturday, who's really a friend of a friend, or a friend of a girlfriend of a friend to be more specific. First time it's been only us. We went to an art exhibition. It really wasn't a date or anything. She just ended up tagging along as she was in the area and we were to meet up with my friend and his girlfriend later. We didn't really say a lot but out of nowhere just had this moment during the exhibition while we were watching a piece where I suddenly felt we really connected. It was completely silent and we just stood there and something clicked. I don't know if it was at the exact same moment but I'm pretty certain she felt it too. It didn't go away after a few hours, but has stuck with me since. I'm not sure (and it really should be to early to say) but I might be falling in love (for the first time in a loooong, long time) again or I've found someone who could turn into a really close friend for many years to come. It feels good.

A family that has been sending their kids to the store for lessons for about 15 years have their youngest son taking guitar lessons, and he wants to take up bass, too, so they want me to build a p bass with a few modifications for him. I am beyond excited :!!!: . Plus it is incredibly awesome to be able to work with a very deserving 15 year old with parents that are happy to support his musical endeavors. And this is my first "order" for a custom build, which is fantastic.

The car repairs i thought would cost $1200 turned out to cost $122. So now i have a bid in on a Rickenbacker on Reverb, and GAS is running rampant.

just swapped out the power cable on my v-4 to something more substantial and with a three prong plug discreet enough to tuck away and fit the amp in it's flight case. the old one kept getting in the way.

i did. it's really easy. just attach the green (ground) wire to the closest transformer bolt by crimping it to a round quick connect and bolting it down under the nut. use a screwdriver on the opposite side of the transformer to hold the screw you're grounding to or it will slip through. then attach the black and white as they were originally to the accessory outlet.
