A friend of mine has a small t shirt business. He doesn't really market much either, but he gets a plot at a couple street fairs every year (also sells vinyl). I helped him out one time and he made over $1000 easily in that one day.

I had a good new years eve. My band had one of our best sets in a while and all the other bands are friends of ours so we all just got to hang out and have a good time with good tunes and good people.

And my hangover wasn't too bad today! And CNN is playing a Parts Unknown marathon. I lurve Anthony Bourdain.

Holiday season is over, fucking finally. Now I can go along my day without that beating down on me.

Had an interview at my girlfriends job that pays hella well. According to her I nailed the interview well enough where her boss is already setting up my onboarding stuff. This gig is gonna fund me finally moving in with my girl and fund many of the upgrades I need for my live setup.

On the subject of me moving in with my girl, she currently lives with her parents. Very cool people, awesome grandparents for my son. They brought up me moving in, said I spend most of my time there anyway, I might as well move in so I can be with my budding family. Rent is gonna be hella cheap and include all the utilities. The kicker for me that sealed the deal (as if it wasnt already sealed) is theyre gonna build a "loud house" in the back, or modify a prefabbed shed, to be a spot I can soundproof and make my studio and just generally be as loud as I want in at any hours. They'll have electricity run out to it as well to power everything. So thats gonna be hella sweet and I'm stoked as fuck for that. Hope to be moved in by summer.

I finally watched Kung Fury while drinking a good beer (Black Chocolate Stout from Brooklyn Brewery) and damn, that thing is a masterpiece.

It's been years since i've seen Drive. Rewatched it thinking that Ryan Gosling has Aspergers.

Also finished a new song I'm really stoked on.

Booked my room for my trip to Japan. Looks like I'll be staying in Nakano. Seems like a really nice place, and all the other major parts of Tokyo I'm most interested in are within a 15 minute train ride of it.
