Rad!

Acid King was absurd -- total bucket list better than I would have hoped type stuff. Jrmy is a good dude in person as well as on the internet. I got to send off my month of sobriety with a nice visit to the thoroughly zonked but not standing-up-falling-over zone... and we didn't miss the T stop getting there (a distinct possibility at the time).

Score for Skully and kbit!

Indeed, Acid King was absolutely nutso. At certain points in the set, they would hit THAT NOTE and I could feel my lungs vibrating in perfect harmony with my molars. Simply divine. Plus I got to shake Lori's hand and thank her for being a badass. Fanboi action is go!

D.o.S. is perfectly lovely in person (AND ON THE INTERNET if you're not casecandy), and I could easily see spending hours consuming beers and discussing subbaculcha with him (his buddy was nice, too, despite praising The Eagles REPEATEDLY). The drive home was absolutely surreal (95 North was almost spookily empty between Boston and PVD), and now I'm at work, feeling utterly dissociated with reality. But that's ok - that's what coffee is for!

That's one of my old guitarists. He's got some flaws. :|:

I kid. At this point, my issues with The Eagles have become a recurring joke in my friend group.

People love The Eagles, man. They just do. :idk:

They're like starving children who insist that they're happy eating air. They refuse to be helped.

Kino's Journey is definitely great. There are a lot of great things out there but it's sort of like black metal I think: one great gem in the absolute deepest sea of shit. I just actually enjoy the shit as well so I put up with it. If you ever want a rec though give a holler.

Just a quiet day off, watching Person of Interest with the dog. Found my dream fuzz (Wolf Computer) on eBay for cheap. Named my little pedal making endeavor (Unlimited SHRIMP! Effects) and drew a little logo. Going out to late lunch with my sweetheart.
