Man, I've never seen something like that before but it looks like a total blast.

Also, never say never!

He's been going there for months at a time several since the 1980s I think. He has some awesome connections and friends over there. He's always posting nutty stuff and fun signs...

He said it was kind of scary because the cops just let it be...like old grizzled fighter dudes just pummeling each other and he left after taking some pictures (probably before it got out of hand). I'm really surprised that I hadn't heard of that event before either. Looks crazy!

About going there: wife has no interest haha. Plus gotta work way too much of the year to stay afloat in LA. We might someday...but not for a long time.

:snax: It's going to be awesome, bud!

Oh, boy! I just bought the complete series of "Rocko's modern life"! I didn't know that a German DVD release existed these days, but it has been available since last year (and I didn't know that till today! :erm: ). My prayers have been heard! How I longed to watch those wacky epicsodes again!

I haven't watched that show in so long. I blame thank that show for making me at least a little fucking weirder while growing up.

Had a solid weekend. Went to my first college football game Saturday and sat in a luxury box. Worked. Ate a bagel. Watched rasslin'. Played guitar. Scored a first edition Sound Shank at a local guitar store.

Yeah, Gorham Brothers had a near mint purple Sound Shank with box and all the goodies for $125. Next time you are up here, we will go check it out. I scored my DSD-2 there, too. Great shop.

We went to the Syracuse/Pitt game, since one of her clients has a box and she grew up a Pitt fan.

I think I just found a super rad place to live. Gonna sleep on it but fuuuuuuuck it feels so good to finally feel positive about a potential rooming situation. This past week and a half has been a lot of awkward Skype conversations with strangers and this one felt way more like people on my wavelength.

That's awesome man! I really hope it works out for you!

Today is a full official year with my new job. Feels like time has flown by. The owner of the company sent me a card yesterday which I thought was really nice. Open it up and it's got a check in it as well. Was not expecting that at all
