Despite already being in "top mental shape" (nowhere near physically! =P I'm getting old!), the best ever in my life, yesterday turned out so fantastic I can't even describe it yet. Overall I just feel very fortunate and happy to be living the life I'm living at the moment and I'm determined to make it even better! Life is good!

Time to study and plan and all that shit. SOOOO EXCITED

Send me a PM if you need info about specific things, I might be able to help a bit (or not, depending on the questions

Cool gear stores to hit up would be cool to know. I imagine I'm going to be hanging out with a ton of friends though so I should be good (hopefully). Definitely going to scour music shops for japanese bands I've been looking for and going to a ton of shows.
Ok, I thought I had posted that here but it was a PM I sent to someone else, referencing something I posted on Muffwiggler...

This is focused on synth stuff, there are also several guitar shops in Shibuya next to the first ones I mentioned.
And there's obviously Ochanomizu with a whole street of guitar shops.

On Saturday our young cat Rusty Nuts was bitten by a snake. We took him to the vet and he's been given anti-venom and been put on a drip. We just contacted the vets and he is starting to respond to the treatment. They say he might be able to come home on Thursday. I'm so happy he's going to be alright.

He's our baby. He is the youngest of our three fur children but also the biggest.

The sun is shining, I'm on a train blasting Melt-Banana, going to jam with UC. Life's good.
Glad your cat made it, Kaos. Hah, Rusty Nuts is a fucking solid cat name.

Applying for jobs and emailing potential roommates in Denver has me all fucking giddy. I'm kinda worried about the music scene there, just because any other major market city is sooooo far away, but it's definitely a place I can see myself living. BAH. Also I'm planning on traveling to New England in two week and seeing friends/family I haven't seen in a while (& D.o.S. w00t).
Coming home sure has been stressful but man am I excited for the future.

I got an SVT now, so I might be able to rattle you off the bed! But yeah, we're down a roommate now.

In the last 24 hours I have received some generous help from some really awesome people. Thank you all again. The missus was in town today and visited Rusty Nuts in the vet and he is recovering well. I'm going in tomorrow to see him. Really looking forward to seeing him. I've really missed him.
In a few minutes a documentary about James Brown is on. Huhhhhh!! Is that how he would spell that?
Life is great.
