I don't think a day goes by without me eating liquorice. The blacker and saltier, the better. :snax:

Do you have this one? It's not as salty as I like, but I still like it more than the sweet one.

But the sweet one with lemon is amazing. Mmmmmmmmm...

After three days in 12 hour shifts, I finally dug up and replaced all the 90 year old cast iron sewer in my house. Everytime I touched it, it caved in making me dig more of it out. I finally got to the part where it goes under a 4'x4'x8' slab (porch) where it is impossible to dig, ground it down as softly as I could, no-hubbed it to ABS, and concreted around it for support (old school, 1960s plumbing style). All of this was in a space that is least a 90' crawl to the nearest exit and where my stomach and back were both rubbing at the same time (tiny, tiny crawl space) and had to dig the sewer out with a hammer.

All in all, I am glad to be a surface dweller again.

Side story: I know NH3 and NaClO make noxious gas, but you know my sewer was leaking and it smelled. So I took a gallon of bleach under the house and a flash light to try to get rid of the smell after I fixed it. My wife was like "that's a bad idea". I said, "I know, there isn't that much ammonia down there". Anyway, there were all these mosquito eggs/larvae or something so I poured the gallon of bleach on 'em. Oh boy...chlorine gas straight outta WWI and there I was stuck in the trench with 70' to an exit. I think I found the most metal of all biological agents though. Second time I've made that though (the other time was when my mom shocked our pool when I was in high school when it needed muriatic acid. she didn't tell me and I threw a gallon of acid in there, saw the white gas and ran like hell, got dizzy and was coughing for a long ass time afterwords...first world problems?).

Finally had our young cats de-knackered today. Hopefully now they will stop trying to root one another and fighting each other. Peace in the household.

Those were the best man! Cheers and congrats.

I'm still happy to be a surface dweller. And a new microwave! Gotta paint again or else I get beheaded.

Ha, my old job has been calling me everyday to respond to their alarm codes....nope. They asked me to come back, again. And Melt Banana tomorrow.

You lucky bastard. :omg:

Hm, my life has been pretty damn great for a good while now. Still have no idea about what I'm gonna do from august and beyond, but I feel like I'll figure something out. And honestly, not knowing feels sort of good after spending the majority of my life doing more or less what was expected from me.
