Today was weird, kicked off with a bee stinging me this morning. First time in like 17 years lol
Then I listened to a bunch of Ween albums consecutively at work all day. And it's also apparently SPRING BREAK WOO

My boss took our whole staff on a trip to the Sweetwater brewery in Atlanta today. Free beer for all! And then took us to dinner after. Sunday Funday!

Finally, despite endless GAS, I am VERY satisfied with my current pedals, for which I just got a pt-2. Still looking to upgrade my gain portion on my board (modded ds1 to soul food, SD1 to OCD, NYC Muff to EQD Hoof), as well as getting a polytune mini, but I really feel happy with the sounds I'm getting out of my board.

My wife made friends with girl from Royal Thunder the other night at the Young Widows show. Royal Thunder aren't really my style, but it was still cool. She told us we need to hang out and (jokingly? maybe not?) told us to start a husband/wife band and play shows with them. So, there's my six month plan.
1-Buy my wife a synth (done)
2-Write tasty bass vi/synth noise rock jams
3-open for Royal Thunder
4-get signed to Relapse as the least metal band on the roster.

In UC news: Starting a new band project. Fusion stuff. I have no idea how it will work or how it eventually will sound. Four people who make and enjoy music from completely different genres. Could be super cool or really shitty.

I think you will make it work because you are excited about it. If the rest of the dudes are excited about it too then it will definitely work. Just keep an open mind and have fun.
