Impromptu double date tonight. Met this girl at a party a month ago and her friend is seeing my best friend so I came to hang out. She was the only one that stuck up for me when I wanted to put on Sabbath's Vol. 4. So yeah, so far, shes pretty cool.

Took an hour walk in the woods with my dogs. 8 inches of untouched snow. It was fucking magical. So calming.

It was a quality walk, that's for sure!
They're whippets. Medium sized greyhounds, so they're basically cats disguised as dogs. Can't teach them anything. They simply don't give a fuck.

As a cat person, I really love them. The misses is a dog person, so this was my compromise.

Haha, awesome. The oldest have wrong set/pointy ears, so that might have thrown you off. I honestly never thought I'd be a dog person before my girl brought me to meet a few whippets. Sighthounds in general are good in my book, even if some of them are too big and even more cat-like than the average whippet.

I've made up my mind to quit my awful fucking job. I feel ungrateful because for a recent college grad it's stable, pays well ($30k salary) and my boss is a good dude. But I'm given nothing to do on a daily basis and if I do ask for something to do it's worthless busy work that won't have any effect on the company. I'm sick of sitting at a desk all day learning and accomplishing nothing. Thankfully I will most likely be able to work for my dad's new business and be able to do much more. Might have a small gap of unemployment but I'll take it, this place is absolutely soul sucking.
I know I shouldn't quit without the other job absolutely assured but if I do this for another two months I'll honestly want to kill myself
EDIT: This sounds depressing but I'm so psyched to be done
