This was at WWW in shibuya. It was him video conferencing with Loren Connors doing a live score to 'the passion of Joan of arc'. Seeing him again in a couple of weeks with Merzbow and Tatsuya Yoshida. Cannot fucking WAIT.
And last night I got to see melt banana in Yokohama with a bunch of other acts including a dude playing noise with a vacuum cleaner mic'd into cranked Roland jazz chorus distortion
The live scene here is incredible.

Still recovering from this weekend. Went out with some people Friday night, drank so much that I was still drunk the next morning when I woke up. Smoked a bunch of cigarettes (that really belongs more in the spite thread though, not good). Slept with a friend of mine. Went out again Saturday night, got hammered again. Found out that I am like a folk hero to a few of my female friends after another night this week when I totally shut down this woman who was trying to be the center of attention and like showing herself off and stuff during my friend Lindsay's birthday party.
Had a bunch of dates this past week, and a few more coming up this week.
Also got to hang out with Cunninlynguists a week or so ago.

Live scene in Tokyo is fantastic, seems like half of the shows I went to had 4-5 cool bands instead of just warm-up -> main gig. Glad you're having fun. Hey, if you're into tattoos, check out Sunsqlit in Shibuya.

Nice to hear everyone having a good time!
I just dug up an old stereo with a gramophone, bondsteck sth.
And a load of vinyl, Tracy Chapman, Tubular Bells, Motorhead, Black Sabbath, Van Halen! HAAHAHh, all from my parents back in the day when they listened to cool stuff
OH AND WHEN THE VINYL IS OVER IT HAS AN AUTOMATIC MECHANISM TO REMOVE THE NEEDLE O_O
(it just did that)
I'M SO HAPPY*sharing love*

Also had a great time this weekend, a DJ collective played deep house, awesome gig; then my friend from the collective invited me to their afterparty (we basically were stoned/sleeping half of the next day and playing some records). I've been bombarded with good stuff all the time. It's what inspired me to grab the vinyls in the first place. Good times good times <3

After 8 months of unemployment, running out my savings, selling a bunch of stuff, and a dozen nowhere interviews I finally got a job offer from a company in my field not to far from my house AND it's an R&D job for Panasonic!!! STOKED it is gonna be intense though... I may even have an offer from another interview coming my way this week....

i just watched some samurai movie with the worst voiceover ever. you could see that they sped up/slowed down the video to match the voice to the mouthmovement a little bit better

A place to bury strangers are playing in Oslo in May. I missed them the last time they were here, so this should be good!

Ever since I attended a Mars Volta concert at a venue that was waaaaaay too small for their gear, I've brought earplugs to every single concert.
I couldn't hear jack shit for three weeks. "What???"

I think my hearing must already be doomed. Forgot to bring plugs to OM in 200 person max venue and stood directly in front of Al's SVT about 10 feet back, didn't even notice a change in my hearing after the show.
