I too have a show tomorrow. I also have the whole day off before and then Saturday off too.

I just picked up the projector that we're going to project old school scary movies with and we're also going to play a bunch of Halloween themed covers with the other band. Playing the synth part for Ghostbusters is kind of the coolest thing ever.

Show last night was crazy. As soon as we went up and grabbed our instruments, everyone started losing their shit. Guess my drummer had brought some friends who were hyped as shit to see us. And once we started playing, the people we didn't have already went fuckin' crazy after that. It was nuts. A lot of people in the audience what the fucked really hard at me doing guitar solos on a bass with the Whammy, got so many "how did you do that" questions after that.

The only unfortunate thing was after our set the show got shutdown by the asshole owner cause it was too loud, and my drummer almost got in a fight with him since their were other groups slated to play next. But there was nothing we could do about that. So we went to my drummers house and got good and wasted to celebrate.

Overall, a good ass first show. :thumb:

Little victory: Nearing putting circuit in case for Secret Satan, planning drilling, it occurs to check whether stalkee needs batteries. Nope. Sweet. Easier to plan drilling, easier to wire, better for the planet.

I'm liking my stalkee all around. Which is just a reminder of what I kinda knew: we got a bunch of good people around here. I gotta make a point of trying to do meet-ups or catching your shows and events, all of you fuzz-loving folk.

Finally got back to recording some stuff today. Revisited a track I did a couple of months ago that I thought I would rerecord, remembering it as terribly flawed. Turns out it sounds ok. Probably just sat too long with it last time.

Went to check out new rehearsal spaces today.
We are looking for something

- near my home
- with a working toilet
- most likely shared with less other bands

All of which are definite advantages from my standpoint.

Finally I can fully fund my GAS problem
Job hunting is the worst, been doing freelance/self employed/part time bullshit for the last 7 months, out of nowhere landed 3 interviews over the last 2 weeks and nailed this one today!
Hang in there man, I am sure something will come along! Rock the shit out of them on Friday man!
