I don't remember posting my second to last post so I'll just say it again:

New band's first show last night was really good. :!!!:

I'm a pretty good drummer. I'd like to think I'll be the next Sebastian Grainger.

I'd like to echo the congratulations Ach! I hope this gets you out of your work doldrums man.

I just gotta work on my work lated mehness now. Thats down the pipeline, though.

I also love Peter Capaldi's Dr. The storylines are cheesy as fuck but his performance and the direction is much better.
I was kinda hoping given the weight he brings to the role that we'd see a less dumbed down show and theyd go for full on intensive string theory and quantum scale happenings coupled with a truly psychotic and imbalanced Dr.

I think I'm gonna send the bbc a treatment for the next dr and tell them to wake the fuck up.

In a little apartment with the love of my life, somewhere in Alabama. No guitars or fuzz boxes in sight. I found myself and I didn't realize I was missing.

Had a pretty sweet Day so far.
Went to a local music store this morning - to get a Ditto Looper ( a gift for someone ) and try out some Geets.

Finally played a J Mascis Squier!! I like it. Squier is putting out lots of Great Deals nowadays.

Played this thing :whateva:
NSFW: show

i had to. just look at it. i would never want to own it .. but it's kinda cool :idk:
Super fast action. never played a Duesenberg before.
.. played 'em through a Blues Jr. and Orange TT combo.

pretty Fun stuff :joy:

Then .. went out for Roti's with my GF .. and had some good Mexican coffee ...... and got some awesome home made cinnamon buns :snax:

Just booked flights to spend 5 weeks in Japan this Nov-Dec.

Doesn't quite even out the plethora of shit going on lately but holy fuck am I relieved, I've never been overseas before and i'll be alone the entire time. Cannot fucking wait.

Kind of gambling on how many decent gigs will be announced within the dates but so far I should be able to make Oneohtrix Point Never, Boredoms and tricot. :excellent:

Man, this page is full of great stuff.
Stoked for all you dudes!

Today, I showed up 10 minutes late to class.
All the seats were full.
So I turned around and left.

Instead, I spent two hours drinking coffee and listening to Xiu Xiu.
God damn, I needed that.

I used this site when I was there earlier this year: http://www.tokyogigguide.com/ Got to see alot of underground noise music and shoegaze and stuff. The five year anniversary of MASF is still one of the greatest events I've ever attended.
