I don't really know whether this should go in the happiness or spite thread but I just found out that I have a full week more of vacation time per year than I thought I did, and have for the past 2 years, and no one ever told me.

Look on the bright side, you know now and it's not like it went on for 10 years! Defs happiness.

My band has been super fortunate this summer with getting shows and having people turn out for them. We tend to do better than any of the bigger/older acts that we play with. People can be so cool and all we do is play music for them. It's just fucking great.

If our rehearsals went as smoothly, life would be perfect.

Last week, I had my smaller bass amp stolen out of my car in my driveway. A peavy ss combo that I've had forever. Not the best amp, but good for home practice, jam sessions, and the occasional coffee shop jam.

I was disheartened and not looking forward to lugging my 4x10 everywhere with me, and taking it back to the practice spot 20 miles away afterward.

Well, our very own Behndy is sending me an Ampeg 1x15 200w combo because he is FUCKING AWESOME and isn't using it. The fuzz brotherhood is a wonderful thing, you guys.

Things going pretty good - aside from the roommate hunt.

Cali trip coming up, a bunch of time off I can take, starting to get back in good shape. Pumped to see Sleep in August too. The concert is within a couple days of my bday so it's like my present to myself.

Ill bet its gonna be beefy enough to run with my 4x10 and bring the thunder. I can finally use my bass big muff for something: a makeshift splitter. Just gonna scratch the label off. Now to figure out if i want a clean/dirty setup or just blast them both with fuzz. Maybe two drastically different fuzzes. Or have one with a suboctave on all the time. Or an octave up. SHIT.
