I left my position as a crisis counselor, yes. I'm still doing other work at the same company temporarily (end of the month maximum), but I had an interview yesterday that I feel really good about. I hope I'm not getting ahead of myself too much, but I really feel like they're going to offer me a position. My interview last like 1.5 hours and the people I were speaking with seemed to have a very positive vibe throughout.

That is a massive interview.

I definitely noticed we were there for a while, but didn't think it had actually been that long. T'was weird, and adds to my hope... I really hope they offer me that position

I'd be doing case management with individuals and families affected by HIV.
Helping them to appointments, with legal services, etc. Crisis stuff if it were to arise.
Still would be some heavy stuff from time to time, but I feel good about it right now.

In other news, i have 2 days off work and because my body clock is somewhat 'normal' now I've been waking up at 5:30am. So much time for productive activites, totally not used to this.
I also finally started learning Japanese and am enrolled in an elective class for it this semester. Pretty keen to go back to uni and see all my friends that have been overseas.

New Job, More Pay, Same Unfettered access to ILF.

I am promoting someone to be my assistant manager tomorrow which means more money for him and I get to yell at him more and make him do the managerial shit I don't want to do. It is a win-win situation.
