Just dig some budgeting. The first part of this month will be tight, but by the end of it I'll be (relative to me) quite well off. That's not even counting tax returns. Looks like I'll finally get my amp fixed and my jazzmaster properly set up.

Nice! I got up at 11 (really early for me), made a nice breakfast, called my mom just to chat, went grocery shopping, actually found a parking spot near my apartment, updated my budget, crisped my lettuce, cleaned up the apartment a little bit, and now I'm about to take a big old doodie.

I feel really awesome that I could be so productive so early in the day and I will feel no guilt to be drinking by 3 in the afternoon. Also, Talking Heads tribute band tonight! And it's within walking distance of my apartment so I can get absolutely smashed. :yay:

Now about that doodie...

After spending the week fighting off the same strand of Parvo that killed his sister, I was able to save Nina's brother. Took him home yesterday and he fits right in. Meet Donut! :joy:

That's cool. I have put on a couple of pretty successful shows/mini festival and it is very stressful. Congrats.

I was woken up at about 6:30 by the downstairs neighbor, and couldn't go back to sleep, which was irritating, but the rest of my roommates were still asleep so I took advantage of the peace and quite and wrote poetry for a few hours and came up with some poems I really like. Now, I have my sisters car for the day, and I have practice with my current band Seymour, which is just me on guitar and my friend on piano. We play a mix of instrumental, noise, and shoegaze. about half our songs have singing, the other half is spoken word. It's a lot of fun. and, after that, I'm going to a drummers house that I met a few weeks ago at a local show, to practice for a noise punk band, which is the music I really want to play. I like the balance between the two bands. I get to be creative and do a lot of guitar work in one, and get to be loud, fast, and noisey in the other one.
