On christmas, we go over to the lady's father's house and he pulls me in the kitchen and shows me this beauty. A buddy of his bought a house and it was in the attic, gave it to him to try and sell for 50 bucks. He let us take it home to see if it works and surprisingly it does, although I can only get one channel to work. Its definitely in need of a clean up. So after I recorded a bit, I went to transfer the tape into logic and the motor speed starts to slow down then speed up and make all sorts of lovely noises. I let it rest for a while then transferred it over again, this time the motor speed stayed consistent. Mixed the two together and here it is... messed with Ebow, Rat, Fuck, Superego, Count to Five, Dispatch Master.

Thanks for the tip. Should be working now, and as you can see not a tape echo but a 1/4'' reel to reel.
Oh nice. Now I want a Dispatch Master that much more. Came really close to pulling the trigger on one of those limited dark versions...
