That's SICK for Khemmis! Hell yeah!

Founders All Day IPA is the shit. Soooo drinkable.

And I love almost everything FFF makes, most of their beers are AMAZING, it's just Razorhoof that really missed the mark to me. Some of their sours apparently suck shit, like undrinkable nail polish remover/vomit flavors (seriously), but overall they're incredible. Even this year's Dark Lord, which is normally a style I'm not huge on, was really good.

It's my opinion that outside of a couple Vermont breweries, no one does IPAs/APAs better than Three Floyds.

It's conversations like this that make me wish I weren't so young. I would love to try literally any of those and I can't buy them yet.

Am I the only person who doesn't like IPA's? Like at all?!?!? I can't think of one I've had in my entire life that I enjoyed. I'm one of those weirdo's that likes piss beer and cider.... and shine. Lordy I love the shine....

Mastodon on Kimmel was, uh, enough to reassure me that I'm going to see them for Gojira and the hope that they'll play some old stuff.

Yeah, I can understand if you don't like em, but out of curiosity, any spring to mind that you've had? What in particular did you dislike about them?

Super fresh is especially key in hoppy beers. A lot of IPAs drop off in flavor in less than two weeks, and begin just to be that clingy bitterness that a lot of people dislike. Furthermore, beers hopped with Citra, Nelson, Galaxy, and/or Mosaic hops tend to be very tropical and less bitter.

And knowing that you like ciders, you may want to try some sours or saisons!

Not an IPA fan at all...i like crisp beers like asahi...and good vodka and scotch, neither mixed with anything but ice. I am partial to scorch with a bit of chocolate on the side though.

Watched Mastodon on Kimmel...was that Mastodon?! I don't know, it didn't sound like Mastodon...then again those 4 guys havent sounded like mastodon for a while now!

I love cider, and my beer consumption is limited to porters and stouts.

I can try and remember some of them. I've tried all the Founder's ones I could find, all the Ruiners, all the flying dogs, all the star hills, and quite a few more I can't remember at the moment. I will always give them a try but none of them ever do it for me. I just don't like bitter beers, anything that people tell me is really hoppy I tend not to like. I don't know what it is but cheap beers like PBR, Nattie Boh, even beast ice I like alot more than any IPA I've tried. And it's not that I dislike craft beers, I will definitely drink a nice porter or real ale, and I will definitely down some mead, but I haven't tried a Saison yet that I know of. Any recommendations?
