Ive got the predecessor the US-1642 and love it. Extremely easy to use, no driver issues, alot of flexibility as far as inputs / outputs and the sound quality isn't horrible. I've recorded whole albums with it and had zero problems. If you can get one for the right price I say jump on it, it hard to find an interface for less than a grand that has 8 xlr inputs built in, along with 6 1/4 in's.....

congrats on the new kid!
Yeah i know right.... Well as far as amp's I'm down to just the Dunwich / Emperor stack (Annunaki > 6x12 + 3x15). Guitar wise I have two DeArmond S-67 7 strings (one with BKP Painkillers and one with SD Distortions) tuned to Drop F, and my Monson Nomad (with SD black winters, currently tuned to a modified Drop B for the guitarist in one of my bands to record with its usually in C standard). Effects wiseI've got this \/ (polytune > TB loop [Dunwich Cthulhu > Dunwich Volt Thrower in loop] > TB modded crybaby wah > akai headrush E1 > Dunwich Clean boost) plus a few random pedals (EBA Supercollider, a couple dirge utility pedals and a gloomdrive, another tuner, and I have an RV-3 coming soon).

Thanks man!!! she's my baby girl... gotta love her.
