After using mine solely at home for a long time, I recently brought it to band rehearsal for THIS EXACT REASON...and of course it was incredible

Still in front of the Mini? Being a bassist that uses a Mini, this has me suddenly intrigued.
I was sold at Young Widows. Even though I think you meant on guitar, it still caused instaGAS.
to be honest, on bass it works in any position and i don't find it benefiting that much from being before Mini it sounds great, but doesn't make as much difference in my opinion
