Hi folks, I'm Ken. I moved to Portland this summer but have six months of hell left in Indiana to finish my degree in mechanical engineering.
I play a Jazzmaster and a jazz bass, both of which were pieced together from parts and have had all sorts of little electronic things stuck under their pickguards (boosters, state variable filters, fuzz) but are basically just normal instruments now. These go through pedals where fuzz typically outnumbers everything else 3-1 and into an Ashdown solid state bass amp and 15" speaker which is just perfect for taking anything that can be thrown at it.
Or something like this (guitar input added before the tube organ's preamp to allow use of the Leslie):

Hello and welcome! Say, whaddya know about the Gibson GA-40T amplifier?
Hello!...sorry for the lag in response(all work & no play makes Jack a dull boy)...never played a GA-40T but they look killer...a friend of mine owns a GA-20RVT and a GA-5...they're alright...nothing stellar but o.k....of course Gibson isn't known for their amp manufacturing

Yo, I'm Trevor, been playin guitar for bout 7 years. I'm in a band, we play blues/hard rock/indie/etc. I live in Seattle, I like it, except for our dumb coffee/eco-friendly stereotype crap. I like our food and music I joined here so I would have somewhere to chill during the big HC meltdown
im robert, i work with aen on dwarfcraft device stuff(guitars dep) i make sounds, alone and in groups. i like playing with ideas and trying something new, "if you have never seen it, how do you play it?" besides that im a gemini, i like long walks on the beach and a reach around is nice every now and again.
I'm r, real name James, I live in Brighton, England. I love all sorts of music, listening to Dirty Three at the moment.
I'm currently a victim of the recession in the UK and don't have a job so I can't afford any pedals for the foreseeable future. This doesn't stop me putting a lot of thought into what I'd have in a Devi Twin pedal. At the moment, my setup is Ibanez AFS77 or Epiphone Les Paul -> Bad Monkey -> Disaster Fuzz -> Meridian volume pedal -> DL-4 -> Holy Grail -> Fender Champion 600 or Vox AD50. I'm getting a Memory Boy for Christmas, and my pedal GAS list is massive - basically, if it's a crazy fuzz pedal or makes weird noises, or even just looks cool, then I want one.
I play harmonica in a folk band at the moment (!) - not much call for fuzz there - but I'm trying to get something post-rocky sorted out.
I used to post on Harmony Central a bit but I prefer this forum, you don't seem to have to own a Spring Chicken, a Pitchfactor, an M9 and 40 boutique Big Muff clones to be accepted here.

Who are you on HC? It seems everyone changes their name when they come here and it gets downright confusing for me. Oh and you may not need an SC/PF/m9 here, but you need MOAR FUZZ

Same name, I only had about 10 posts though so I'm not expecting anyone to recognise me! I agree about needing more fuzz too. I only have a Disaster Fuzz so I need a dense wall-of-noise fuzz, maybe another glitchy one like a Wolf Computer and a smoother one. And maybe a few others.
Now then. Got linked to this board from another one, it seems like a pretty sweet place. I'm Oliver, I play in a band called The Ergon Carousel and spend far to much money on records and equipment.
Hi (or something). I just found out about this joint the other day. I like making noise. Which is why I'm here. For the noise. Also, the chicks. If there are any. Just kidding. I'm all about the noise. I already have one chick that I drive nuts with said noise, even though she is the one who first got me into industrial music (outside NIN and Ministry at least). Yes, I know. Not all industrial is noise, but come on. Logical path and such.
umm hi, im rabbit. my friends called me that cause of a recurring theme on acid trips and it kinda stuck. im 17, 18 in january and from south london. i got directed to this forum by some guys on ultimate-guitar and knew just from the title of the site that i had to register i like bluesy fuzzy stonery stuff, i dunno. a lot of grunge too, blues and grunge are probably my main influences.
anyway im rambling, nice to be here and hope to get to know you all soon enough
I found the board through following devi on twitter. Finally got around to registering. I play a epiphone dot and a mim fender jag through a line6 spidervalve. I love all sorts of music from Marty Stuart to Belong. I look forward to finding new sounds and bands.
Howdy I'm Juan St. brent , I have been playing guitar off and on since '87 , I used to abuse gear to get my aesthetic preference when it comes to fuzz. I started in a few bands and then took some years off and then back on and then I was to old to collab. with anyone. now after pawning all of my gear a few years back I have been slowly re-building, in my search I have found the underground of lo-fi and boutique noise culture. I wish it was existent back in my day. So now I fly solo and am trying to build the perfect rig , It's wonderful to see that circuit bending, boutique and genereal fuzzy goodness is stronger than ever ! just trying to get my shite togethor as they say . I have a lousy almost unplayable guitar and am thinking about moving to bass , since I'm veering towards the Industrial , IDM , EBM noise-core whatever you folks call it nowadays. I have plans to do a one man band setup ... first , I NEED SOME PEDALS ! and I finally found sounds i used to have to connect 3 or 4 pedals with an overpowered am into a almost blown speaker to get. Long Live fuzz, or @ least it won't go down without a fight !
If a pedal on my board feels ashamed, it needs to find a new home.
Bass player from Colorado that loves fuzz pedals. Been playing for a few years, and now I'm currently going to CSU-P for double bass performance. Need to find myself a good band to play in, but that should happen soon. My pedal collection has gone from good sized to small to huge to what it is now. Definetly looking for more fuzz.
awesome signature with witty quotes from all you fuckers
'sup. The names joe, i'm 17 and i play guitar. Mostly play "post-rock"/"Math-rock" type stuff like GY!BE, 65daysofstatic or Battles but also enjoy bands like MBV or Smashing Pumpkins. I play in a band called Ghost Hardware. I'm also a DJ, which is mainly where i get my moniez from but i also set up some shows every now and then with two of my friends for bands that we like. The only ILF pedal i own is a Devi Vintage Fuzz Master. I live in the UK.
