We tried out a new drummer tonight. He got through three of the 4 songs that we play in our live set (didn't have time to go through the 4th). All he has to do is tighten them up and he'll be dead on enough to play live. This guy just nailed what it took our previous drummer 9 months to do. Hopefully with another practice we'll be ready for our show on the 28th.

Congrats dude!!!! Finding a good drummer is always a win. Please tell me he hits harder than the last guy.... :poke:

He does. he is the guy from the last band I was in. He bailed on us, but he's got his shit together now. He's more technical and the fact that he is a trained drummer is amazing. I can talk technical terms with him and he gets it. With the last guy I felt like I had to dumb shit down with him a lot.

Just flipped through the new issue of Guitar Player and it has a few cool things that are coming out.

The demo could be better, but I can see where I could get along with this thing for sure.

And phaser dudes....

I dig it.

I wouldn't buy one of these (unless I found one cheap used) but I think it is a good affordable alternative to the Space, maybe. (never played with one before)

The downside of the Logidy is that you can't edit anything about the impulse once it's on the pedal, so forget about improvisational tweaking. I'd rather have my Space (or an H9) personally.

We have red stickers that provisional license kids are supposed to put on their license plates here in NJ. But it's a new law and very unpopular and it might be getting repealed.

Is it me or Orange just keep making new variations of the same thing?

Has anyone seen the new Karma Suture by Catalinbread? It sounds killer. I want one for that 'in between' sound. Dig it.

Check out the 7:00 mark. Kinda funny.

Edit: Youtube embedding is being difficult, sorry.
