Crimson Drive troubles
So as of recently my crimson drive has been basically shorting in and out.
Sound passes through it just fine when it's not on
It doesn't always happen but when I go to engage the pedal, the volume drops significantly and either takes a few seconds for it to come back to normal or I have to switch it off and on.
I noticed when I tap the footswitch when the pedal is on, the volume will drop and then come back.
I checked out the insides of the pedal and it all seems fine?
I tried tightening the nut around the footswitch which seemed to alleviate the problem for a bit but now it's happening again.
Any thoughts on what could be up?
Tried different cables
Using PP+2 (tried different outlets on it and it powers all my other pedals just fine)

Yeh I shot them an email yesterday
Figured I'd just make a post in the meantime to see if anyone had any thoughts on what was up that would require me not shipping the pedal out.

Sounds like there might be some sort of cold solder joint or loose connection either on the effect send/return lugs or on the pcb for input and output. At least those would be areas to take a look!

Check the middle left lug of the stomp, and the middle middle lug of the stomp. Everything else looks completely kosher. Maily just that left middle leg that has me thinking

It's most likely a bad footswitch, we'll take care of that for you if you want to send it in. Please use the repair form on the info page of our site.

If you have the part, please go ahead! We had an awful batch of switches... We recently started using a different brand and everything seems to be smoothed out.
