Admittedly, though I've only seen ads with these two bitches on there, the immediate full body reaction I have to the sight of their faces and the sound of their voices within the 30 second slot is, "fuck me, what a pair of awful cunts."
Well done, sir.

Ok, post civil war America, building of the Union Pacific Railway. Slaves have just been freed, immigrants are all desperate for work, Native Americans are having the country raped out from under them, everyone is racist and bloodthirsty. And the main character is an ex-confederate on a mission to kill the Yankee platoon that brutally slaughtered his family.
Good mix of semi-realistic politics and power plays, sort sorta-history (enough to be both entertaining and thought provoking, but probably not a million miles from the ugly truth) and pretty good actors playing some pretty great characters.
In a nut shell.
And Callum Bohannon is fucking BADASS.
As is almost everyone else on the show.

I just started Vikings yesterday and it's pretty good so far. Lots of raping and pillaging and women/children/old people killing. It's stylized for TV, but the basic premise is fairly accurate from what I can remember from high school history.

Yeah I dig Vikings, watched the whole first season in a week.
Season 2 shouldn't be too far off.
Also, just started third season of hell on wheels.
The writing is terrible.

Absolutely...and it has Brother Mouzone, and drunk Steve from Deadwood. Current best show on television by far. Easily puts Walking Dead into second place for sunday night.

Yup, another Vikings fan here too. New season starts on the 27th, I think. Actually going to Ireland this summer so it will be neat to see some of the places that they film.
