From everything I've been told, and researched....I don't want clones if an original is available too....

meh.. no octave toggle… no blend… next you guys are going to start texting on rotary phones….

I don't understand why they made the fy6, et al, with the tone switch on the side. major boner. but i'd probably stick with the scooped setting anyway. best for bass.

and I never clean blend.

ps: these vintage ped pics are the sexiest shit. I enjoy seeing the development of what will be the gnarliest "board", imo.
to me, a board is whatever comes between your guitar and amp.

thank's, I'm glad you dig the pics. its alot of fun finding out how pedals are going to interact.

you know, i've wondered why they put the controls on the side too...??

btw, there is a frickin awesome ALL BLACK univox superfuzz on ebay. that pedal looks evil. i've only ever seen them in red and blue.

It is the Squier Jag Bass and it's awesome... So many toanzzz between the two pickups, it can get spanky high or growly low... Works great with fuzz and sounds massive through some 15's... It's the only guitar or bass that all my friends wanna steal from me... :thumb:

They don't all have to be gig boards or band boards... I like messin with the same config over and over changing lil things till I get a board for "that sound"... :idk:

I have a scale diagram of my board that exists because

I made these two diagrams now (while my son is asleep, meaning I'm not busy playing with cars) to show how everything is connected.

I must say I really appreciated the diagram. These loopers really confound me, I'd never be able to not re-arrange everything on an absolute whim, so it must require a whole lot of discipline and thought. I tried to draw out a diagram once and wound up getting frustrated and drew pictures of a goat with boobs....

I think "post everything you have" is the wrong way to describe it. I have nothing against messing with stuff and posting the results. But imo the last few pages were too much "LOOK AT ME, I'M DOING THIS!" and "LOOK HOW COOL I AM, I HAVE THIS!" and "AND NOW I'M COMBINING THIS WITH THAT BECAUSE I HAVE IT!" and "LOOK AT THIS, THIS IS THIS!"
It's cool to show off your new pedals, old pedals, vintage pedals... and I enjoy looking at them and lusting after a few of them. I also think it's cool to have such a collection of pedals and I'd want to show it off too. But if I would be posting every chain of pedz I come up with because of "that sound", I'd spam 20 pics a day with always the same 5-6 pedals, just in a different order.
I think a separate thread for that kind of stuff would be better and easier to overview and discuss.
Just my 2 cents.

eh, you misinterpret my intentions. :joy:

since you mention that you only come on the weekends, you miss that i have been getting a LOT of new pedals over the past few weeks. I've already explained the reason for why I'm posting in the manner I have been, I am sorry if that annoys you. The majority of my pedals are vintage pedals. nothing i do about that, except buy more :!!!: again sorry for making you upset, wasn't my intention. perhaps you can just use the scroller on your mouse to bypass my postings if they upset you so much.

Oh, I'm not annoyed or upset, don't get me wrong. I just didn't get the tsunami wave of posts breaking in this thread. I was used to the usual Pedalboard thread.. But things change. :snax:

this thread needs a jump start. along with maybe an explanation for why you're pedals are arranged and for what purpose, or a chart like goroth..w0w...or maybe share some cool result that was completely unexpected when stacking pedals in a certain order. i think the gear porn pedal boards over at tgp are pretty blah, here we've got interesting builders with unique enclosures and pedals with ever increasing control over their parameters. just an idea. :idk:

i'm not saying that's what i'm doing....i'm trying to make a new record  and posting pics of the pedal lineup that made the cut that day.

what? you don't like my original shin-ei fy-6, and now you have a problem with my phones?

 If you like your original shin-ei fy-6 that's fine, I just see the cost VS function VS vintage BS VS placebo effect as chasing one's tail a bit. I like vintage gear and still use a script phase 45 all the time but I really enjoy the things that current builders have done with the old circuits better when it comes to functioning for gigging, I would not gig with a fy-6 or a non modded muff because they don't do everything I want them to :idk: I don't have a clone of a 45 because I'm lazy
