This will cut heaps of bass on the way in, tighten things up, then fill out your sound on the way out. Also try winding up the middle a fair bit, and winding the gain back a bit. The mid boost is pre distortion, so it's like goosing a pedal with a TS or something.
Frazz has a bass trim pot on the inside, which could tighten up the sound a bit, but it's never going to be as tight as The Elements.

I have a musicmaster also, but want to change to mustang style pickguard. Where did you find your pickguard?
