two-piece upbeat mid-90's midwest "emo"/indie whatever stuff. recording our full length in november, don't mind the bad recordings.

an even worse audio recording of us from our summer tour. the people who lived at that house said we were the loudest band that ever played there. we were pretty pumped on that, especally since my bass head blew up the first night of tour and my marshall 4x12 just kind of stopped working for the week we were out, so i had to borrow someone's cab (a 2x12) and a bass head. i also had to use my super "small" amp rig since we toured in my station wagon..3 heads, 4x12, 2x12, 2x15. :idk:

New demo: Losing Everything

(Sorry, it's totally fuzz-less.)
The fuzz is where the flavor is.

Just for fun*, I recorded a cover of Perfect Day by Lou Reed. I just added the vocals this morning right after I woke up. It will be evident that I don't use AutoTune.

For comparison's sake, here's the original: http://listen.grooveshark.com/#/song/Pe ... y/10312590

I hope I didn't butcher it too badly. :picard:

*By "fun" I mean because my fuckin' uncultured girlfriend who has no appreciation for Lou Reed dumped my sorry ass.
The fuzz is where the flavor is.

Here's a brass quartet piece I did for my 2nd semester music theory course: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/310953/Music ... ption2.mp3

Though, what I ultimately turned in had a different melody...the progression might have been different, too. Ooh, I found what I turned in: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/310953/Music ... caglia.mp3

I didn't like my final version (the first half, at least) at first...but I do now. I think it's harmonically more complex.

Yeah, what's up isn't recorded the greatest. It's not even the best example of what I write, but one person was begging me to put it up (I wrote it for them) and other people were asking to hear my music. I'll get more up eventually. Working on old stuff, adding finishing touches, being influenced right now, so it may take a while, but there.

Hello everyone, Hello Devi,

Here is my solo project, Preacher of the Savage Truth:

Preacher of the Savage Truth is Justine Deluxe’s ex-drummer Pat BEZIAN solo DIY Project. Amateur selfmade musician and composer, i compose all alone in my Home Studio, along with my moods and feelings, with various materials like such electric guitars, analog synthetizers, vocoders, drumkits and virtual instruments, recorded on my computer. I sing sometimes, but most of my work is instrumental. Preacher of the Savage Truth’s music style is mostly rock, with noisy, post rock, alternative and industrial influences froms varoious bands like NIN, Mogwai, Death in Vegas etc… I’d like to work with you, i mean with musicians from all over the world who could help me recording instruments, sing and maybe write lyrics, play keyboards etc…

Songs:

Howdy,
my Shoe Gazer pedal arrived today at home so I used it to add a track to a song I've been working on, wich I have just uploaded to my soundclick account:
http://soundclick.com/share?songid=8243818
It features the Shoe Gazer in a rythm guitar trough all the song and distinctively in one of the solo guitars (the loud one) at the ending.
Sorry for the weird singing, crappy playing etc... :p
Best Regards
P.
