Hey everybody! I haven't been around much in a few months. I've just been trying to drop a lot of habits that have been getting me stuck in a complacent lifestyle.

Spending copious amounts of time on the internet isn't one of them apparently, lol. I've just ended up playing forum mafia a bunch.

But things are finally starting to go well for me. I finished college. I got a full time job (that I start in April) and am starting to look for a place to live in Milwaukee (as in moving out of my parents' house, YAY). So basically things are starting to look up after like 3 years of being overall miserable.

I'm playing in a cover band right now that I'm sure many of you would find lame, but I'm just enjoying playing with people regularly and being productive. Our second gig is on 4/20 (lol). I just thought I'd check in since I missed a lot of you cool cats.

And also so I can promote my B/S/T thread.

seems like it would be fun :idk:

It is fun! People are in the mood for dancing, everyone gets drunk and friendly, and you get paid (unless it's for a favour)! Good times all round.

I had a really great day. Hung around the house until 3:00, picked Kate up, spent a few minutes in her dorm, went to the mall to get a gift for her friend's birthday, got a call from a museum in town to set up an interview (WOO. TWO JOBS. SUCK MY DICK WORLD.), went back to my place, had two rounds of crazy monkey sex, went out to hang out with her friend on her birthday, double dated for dinner, and I just got home.

It was a really good day :)

Got my tax returns yesterday. They were awesome.
Haven't worried about my pedal board in like two weeks. Content with my pedals.
Starting up a modular for less than $500, all paid for.
Finally ordered the last of the parts I wanted for my guitar, getting some new steel saddles since the ones on it are pretty worn.
Going to try some .12 chromes and see if I can't be even MORE ridiculous with the sound.
Put a decent chunk of change away to use on the honeymoon.
Actually got to put some money in my savings account.

Life is good man.

Dude, nobody was there in the morning so I was able to dual-wield the guns on House of the Dead.
It was a sublime experience.
Also, Addams Family Pinball and Raiden 2. Initial D too. So good.
