in the studio he does, but i have seen his live board and it is like that one i posted. i think i say a muff on the board at the show i went to though

i'll have to dig it up, but there was a video interview online where he showed his board an explained it. i remember the only distortion he had was two (2) Boss Bass Overdrives in series.

Boss Bass overdrives?!?
that crazy son of an osborne.
I thought he only used a Vintage Blue Box when the Melvins first started... It appears now he requires more dirt. Did he use the bass overdrives on the last album, you think?

i don't think he said one way or the other - but his board was ALL boss in this interview. he said that was because he wanted something readily available, anywhere he went, so that if it broke down he could get a replacement ASAP. of course his amps are still old as hell...

Same thing Beck (hansen) said, he used to use only vintage pedals (before they got populaur ;)) and they broke a lot, so he switched to a boss gt-5... then went back to modern pedals, aside from a MXR Time Delay and a Boss DM-2.
