Right on guys, that'll be fun! I was wondering if maybe they had a live band but I'm glad it's cartoons on a screen. I just hope nobody dies and they don't summon anything.

Dr., ask and you shall receive! *smile* This is a short clip my pal Lyle made with his 909, he futzes around with the mix, the gain, and the sizzle.
wow sweet thanks ryan! or shall i say dr as well! clips was unexpected! might have to grab one of these in the near future. i really like dirt boxes with a mix knob on drums. sometimes full on fuzz is too much but just dialin in a subtle amount does wonders in conjunction with the clean signal.
also laughin at how dancy/miami cluby the sounds of the 909 are. hilarious. gloria estefan anyone??
also also, im out of the loop on all the newish adult swim shows as its been years since i've had cable, but is this brendon small guy your all talkin about the same brendon small from home movies?

Just got it today.. Words cannot describe the awesomeness... I guess if I had to relate it to any other type of pedal, it would be kinda like a Big Muff with better EQing and an awesome mix control....
A fun setting I found is with Sizzle and Gain at 0, volume at 5.5 and mix at 4.7... It's pretty clean sounding aside from some hiss in the background, BUT these spectaculaurly weird fuzzy copies of your signal just come in almost randomly, like an octave or even sometimes 2 otaves down from the dry signal.
Being able to turn the gate off requires a whole new output stage, a 5th transistor, and I'm afraid it's not a mod that can be done to older models as it requires a new pcb, sorry about that mff!
B-man's got it right though, the hotness of the signal going into the Frazz can have a big effect on the gate control. I mostly play a G&L Asat and the single coil in the bridge can't over-ride the gate even with the gain dimed but my Les Paul can.
