Damn! My wife has a no zombies while she's at home policy. I tried explaining the fascination:
"it's awesome, they're like dead and then you can shoot them and they chew brains and there's blood and stuff. And it's really funny too, there's like humour in the blood. And apocalypse."
but I realised I sounded somewhere between a 13 year old boy who's discovered his older brother's film collection, and a sociopath. So I gave up.

Yeah. I have been wanting to get into the show since it began, but the wife wasn't into it, and it's always more fun watching crazy shows like that with someone else. She finally caved when one of her friends started watching it with her husband and enjoyed it. What really set the hook was when I told her it would be like Lost....with zombies.

That's not too far off actually. HEY WE HAVE THIS ENTIRE CAST OF CHARACTERS THAT YOU JUST WANT TO DIE. PLUS DARRYL.

Walking Dead and Game of Thrones are both total lady-dramas with awesome stuff added so manly men can enjoy them too.

I've only seen season one so far. I'm awful at keeping up with current shows. I got fed up with cable and haven't had it for a few years, so I end up waiting for video releases. I would have season two if I weren't in the middle of another (too embarrassing to name) show. I went a little nuts during Amazon's black friday deals and ended up with a daunting backlog of movies and shows. Maybe I can get up to season two by March :D

I hadn't clicked on this thread in ages, not sure why. I had no idea there was a Venture Bros Halloween special so I've got that downloading right now! It's been way too long since there was a new Venture Bros episode. New season is supposed to start pretty soon though, right?

I haven't watched any of the new Red Dwarf yet, but I will soon. I've been wading through the series from the beginning (for some time now), and I'm onto the last of the original seasons now.

I did not like TWD but I recently soldiered on with it and caught up. The second half of season 2 really picked up and season 3 is phenomenal, each episode is like the highlight reel of 5 season 2 episodes. Went through and watched them again with the gf who hated it at first and then started to love it as well. Without any spoilers there is a specific part is season 2 where shit gets real and the show takes a serious turn for the best.

I stopped watching TWD in season two also, just decided I didn't like it anymore.. I'll have to give it another chance.

Tanya and I watched all of The League over the last week, really funny show. We'd been avoiding it cause we thought it was too sportsy and we're not sportsy at all but it's a really funny show, not too sportsy at all.

Ancient Aliens came back last week.. episode was about the planet's pyramids, cool episode. I hated how season 4 started with those episodes about apocalyptic prophecies and 2012 bs... that crap is always crap, in my opinion.

Lately I've been watching a lot of Neil deGrasse Tyson stuff on YouTube, he's an awesome astrophysicist and really cool speaker, lots of cool lectures to watch.

I definitely need to get into The League.

My mom picked up Always Sunny season 5 and 6 for Christmas. There is an extended cut of Lethal Weapon 5. I. Am. Excite.

And I'm super pumped up about Archer and Workaholics coming back.

Woah extended Lethal Weapon 5! That's awesome!

I like everything you say in your post, Trey, love all those shows and would watch them all every day. You'll dig the League, I can pretty much guarantee if you like Workaholics and Always Sunny then you'll like the League.

Anybody here like the show Code Monkeys? I really dug it.. and last night I found that all the people involved started another show, called My Dungeon, Your Dragon. Same 8 bit style, same voice actors, pretty funny, on YouTube.

Ruxin from The League has a new skit show coming out soon, Kroll Show.

I can't think of any other cool tv at the moment...
