wow I think that would make for a freaking neck heavy but awesome instrument. Anyone have the wood body, alum neck combo?

probably neck heavy, but I'm pretty sure the necks are hollow, too.
Maybe partying will help.

Tried out an EGC standard a couple days ago. MAN. Almost piano-like and those metallic overtones... especially on dat g-string  and it sounds totally rippin through fuzz. Very cool sounding guitar.

Although I would never buy one myself because goddamn they weigh a fucking ton, i don't know how you guys do it

I love those metallic overtones too, very cool sounding.

I'm the same size as Shaq so the weight is no biggie. (I agree, flippin heavy guitars but I only play sitting down, intimate and interactive style)

The heavier the guitar, the more fun it is to play.

And you can quote me on that.

I got used to swinging around a 12 pound ATK, so really, nothing's too heavy anymore.

It's a bass. It'll have like...four strings. And a pickup. And that's about it.
