Accidently, no. If I played more towards the bridge, maybe. Those buttons are recessed a good amount, they are well below string height. When I strum, using my finger nails, I am closer to the neck than when I am plucking, so if I overshoot a bit knobs don't get twisted.
Bassus- Lots of tones in the 25th (almost same as Reflex) for sure. Passive/Active on an Ernie Ball is what sold me, I like the shape WAY better than a Big Al (only other one with passive option). I can get away with 2 tones in our set but I prefer to use 4 or so.
Yes Haki- super sexy!
Man, this bass has really blown my mind, I am glad I kept at JWAR, throwing him offers, believe me JWAR did very well on the trade. Making the trade happen has put a halt to any major bass gear acquisitions for awhile. So worth it. I have never owned an Ernie Ball, I have really only played StingRays. I have been interested in a Bongo for awhile (still am, one day...) but this bass is exactly what I need, and all that I wanted. The neck is very quick, the action is low without being clanky, them TOANZ, and to me it is light, my Warwick was a heavy SOB. I really don't worry about such things but I did notice. The 25th cuts through great, can have those growly mids (the one thing I worried about when moving on from the Warwick) but they seem just a bit buttery, smoother. Really between this bass, the Orange AD200B, and my current pedals (always want to tweak those a bit, but I am cool), I have the tools I was after.
