Who Loves Badass TV shows? Let's hear it!

Yeah - it's sad that they weren't in the last season. It honestly felt like the show should have ended with the 6th season, like they planned it that way and then the network wanted the 7th season.

I watched the last episode this evening. And for whatever reason I'm proud of myself for it??? Maybe because now I'm officially a little bit Canadian?

Now on to the movies - is there a particular order that I should watch them in?

Right on, watching TPB is one of the most Canadian things a person can do!

For the movies, the first was The Big Dirty in 2006 then Countdown to Liquor Day in 2009 and then there's a special called Say Goodnight To the Badguys that's the last thing, I think. The movies are cool too but TPB is like Red Dwarf for me, it's the first few seasons of the show that are so special and fun and cool.

Hey Ryan, did you know there's a new series of Red Dwarf coming out this year? Reviews from the studio audience made it sound like it's gunna be a goodun!

I'm so excited for it, Pete! It's gonna be way cooler than the 3 episodes of season 9... we're talking 6 episodes, laugh track from studio audience, and maybe even Holly... I probably won't sleep until this is out!

I think Delocated is hilarious! If you're just starting it keep watching, it gets funnier and funnier as it goes on. It's currently airing season 3 right now and I love it. I guess it's the best/only thing Adult Swim is even making right now, hey?

Our favourite show right now is from Australia.. it's a cooking competition show called My Kitchen Rules... there's something about cooking competitions that Tanya and I just love. *shrug*

You must be all caught up with Delocated now hey Rich? I love it and there's barely ever any new Adult Swim stuff so I'm happy it's so good.

My Kitchen Rules rules.. we love it. The new one just finished downloading and I can't wait to see who gets booted today! We'd never have known about it if not for torrent sites upping it and we love cooking competition shows for some reason so we've watched every season of it.

Anybody watching The River? Kinda fun.

You guys watch the first episode of the new season of Workaholics on Tuesday? Man I love that show, those guys are hilarious. I found their comedy troupe on YouTube, mailordercomedy, they have lots of videos from a few years ago, pretty funny stuff.

They also have a full album of rap songs about wizards... you can get it on iTunes... I did. It's a whole rap album by wizards rapping about wizard stuff like killing goblins and sipping potions and banging maidens. The Wizards - Purple Magic.

I am definitely going to be checking that out since I love me some Workaholics!

I still haven't watched the Trailer Park Boys movies, but my friend who just moved here is hooked on it so I will be watching the last of season 7 with him tomorrow and starting the movies after that.

As for my summer viewing pleasure there is Workaholics, Louie, and Wilfred. And I am going to try and watch Game of Thrones (only seen 2 episodes), The Walking Dead (only seen 1 episode), and season 2 of Boardwalk Empire. Should be awesome.

And even though I realize this is a tv thread - I just watched Red State the other night. Holy shit is it amazing and crazy, especially when you keep in mind that Kevin Smith wrote and directed it.

I hadn't heard of Red State.. that sounds wild and I never would have guessed a movie like that was by Kevin Smith... sounds really intense.

I liked Wilfred a lot, very funny. It's based on an Australian show that has 2 or 3 seasons, slightly different premise but funny also. Maybe funnier, Aussies are good at comedy.

I'm still watching lots of video games on YouTube too, I still love that.

Yep, Kevin Smith really stepped out of his comfort zone on that flick and I really dig it. It is on Netflix here in 'murica, so maybe you guys have it as well. I also really love his Q&A stuff (there are a few on Netfilx here as well).

I need to check out the AU version of Wilfred. I can't wait to see where they take the American series this season. I love the mental health aspect of the show.

What games have you been watching?

I've been on a big Sierra On-Line kick again the past couple weeks.. Kings Quest and Space Quest series from the 80s/early 90s... love those old games where you have to type in your actions like 'look Trey's car' and 'steal Trey's car'.. those are my favourites of all games ever I'd say.

You game much? I like watching Skryim and Dark Souls walk-throughs too, killer RPG games are fun to watch. I like old D&D dungeon crawl games too like Eye of the Beholder series, old TSR games like that.

I love gaming, but don't get to play as much as I would like to.

My favorites are rpgs - I used to love the Final Fantasy and Chrono series back in the SNES and PSone days. Now I really dig western rpgs - my favorites are the Elder Scrolls games, Fallout games, and Mass Effect. I really like good action adventure games too like the new Batman games, Assassins Creed, Uncharted, and stuff like that.

The king of games will always be Super Mario 3 though
