Actually When my electra worked [head came off too many times..] for the neck pup I took two strat pups put them in the ring and wired them on a 3 way mini toggle
Gah... I need to find a replacement neck one of these days... I still miss that damn thing...
i don't care for block inlays so much...they feel weird when i do finger/hand vibrato, which i do a LOT. i guess i got used to playing guitars with dots or other small inlays and so i'm used to the feel of wood. MOP or other inlay material feels weird and scrapey when i wobble a string on top of it; abalone feels like scraping a blackboard to me.
