a little progress on this guy, added wite-out and shaded some more: i want to color the scythe blade with a silver sharpie, but since i'm just using office supplies on hand, i might have to figure something else out.
Here's a print from my experimental black and white class, contact print from a 4x5 negative (that someone threw away ). Inspired by "swap Meet" by Nirvana of course.

this one was a bitch to print. lowest light possible, 5+ light filter for 35 seconds
reason being, since this was too complex to just lay over the paper with the negative going through, i needed to basically make a giant negative of the image.
which apparently fucks with the exposure seeing as transparencies are a lot less opaque than film.

This was our group shot. (I purposely made it very crudely - also I am pictured as the bassist but I was actually a guitarist, the guy next to me pictured as a guitarist was our bassist/occasional acoustic guitar player)
We wanted to have a sense of humour about our music. Unfortunately I think that this contributed to a couple of them not taking the band seriously, and us eventually breaking up.
